This video tells the story of Lila, an incredibly loving and resilient grandmother from Nepal. She is providing a nurturing family for her two grandchildren. Building Strong Families (BSF) provides holistic development opportunities for families like Lila's who are dealing with the challenges of poverty. This helps prevent the relinquishment of children from poor families to orphanages. BSF is empowering and working with Lila to provide income generation assistance, care-giver training, health care, education, and much more, so that Lila and her grandchildren can thrive in a loving and sustainable family.
